IT Contracting

Most small businesses do not need a full-time IT department - they need a competent one they can call. We are that department: networks, machines, accounts, and the honest advice in between.

What is included: IT Contracting

Networks

Setup, wifi that reaches the back office, guest isolation, and VPNs - designed around how your team actually works.

System administration

Workstations, accounts, backups, and updates handled on a schedule instead of during emergencies.

Troubleshooting

The weird stuff: printers that hate everyone, software that stopped cooperating, machines that slowed to a crawl. We find the cause, not the symptom.

IT strategy

Plain-language advice on what to buy, what to skip, and what to fix first - sized for a small business budget, not an enterprise one.

What a small business actually needs from IT

The gap most small businesses fall into is between doing nothing and hiring a full-time person. Nothing means problems accumulate until something breaks expensively. Full-time is often more than the work justifies.

What fits in that gap is a few hours a month of competent attention: keeping backups honest, updates current, and accounts tidy, plus someone to call when something behaves strangely. That is what we sell, and we will tell you when you do not need it.

The unglamorous work that prevents the expensive kind

Almost every emergency call traces back to something nobody scheduled: a backup assumed to work, a renewal with no owner, a machine running an operating system that stopped getting patches long ago.

We put the dull things on a schedule. Backups get verified rather than assumed. Renewals get tracked. Updates get applied before they become urgent. It is not exciting, which is precisely the point.

Plain language, always

You should not need a translator to make decisions about your own business. We explain problems and options in ordinary words, and we say what we would do if it were ours.

That includes saying no. If a piece of hardware does not need replacing, we will tell you. If a subscription is redundant, we will point it out. Advice that only ever recommends spending more is not advice.

Local, and reachable

We are based in Warren, Pennsylvania, which means on-site visits are straightforward across Warren, Jamestown, Erie, Bradford, and the places in between. Remote support covers everything else, including clients well outside the region.

When something breaks the night before a launch, help is not three time zones away. That difference is worth more than it sounds when you actually need it.

Common questions

Do you come on-site?

Yes, throughout NW PA - Warren, Jamestown, Erie, Bradford, and the places in between. Remote support covers everything else, worldwide.

Is this a contract or on-demand?

Both work. Some clients keep us on a monthly retainer; others call when something breaks. We will recommend the one that fits your reality.

Do you handle cybersecurity?

We cover the fundamentals that stop the common attacks: patching, account hygiene, multi-factor authentication, backups, and network isolation. That baseline prevents the majority of incidents a small business actually faces.

We already have someone. Can you work with them?

Yes. We have filled gaps for in-house staff, handled overflow, and covered vacations. Being a second opinion is a perfectly good reason to call.

What about our old computers and printers?

That is the job. We would rather keep a working machine running than sell you a new one, and we will tell you plainly when replacement is the cheaper path over the next year.
